Well I only shaded down so far with his jacket and shirt, then used toilet paper to blend it into the blank space at the bottom. i also went over the bottom a little with the toilet paper so it wasn't plain white. Then i took a kneaded eraser and went over the parts where i wanted there to be fog so that it only lifted a little of the graphite from the paper.
